Description
The TacticalPontoon Peacemaker Daily 4.0lb: There are probably 100 or more drop in trigger systems for the Glock platform. TacticalPontoon has never built a basic drop in trigger system. I have always had overtravel adjustment as well as other adjustable elements that required final install details that set the TacticalPontoon systems apart.
I wanted to build a system that would continue this tradition of performance, without the need to do any final tuning. This is a true drop in system that combines the highest quality components to set it apart from the competition.
The Peacemaker Daily 4.0lb Recipe:
- I start with the TacticalPontoon Peacemaker blade style trigger shoe that has 50% less pretravel than the factory curved shoe. The flat face trigger shoe allows for better finger placement and leverage for more control over your shots.
- The trigger bar has all working surfaces improved over factory for less friction and cleaner trigger break characteristics.
- One of my biggest frustrations with drop in trigger systems has always been their focus on profit over performance and this is no more obvious than in their choice of connectors. I chose my favorite connector for the Competition series and toned it down for the Peacemaker daily use. If the trigger shoe is the face, this is the heart of the Peacemaker.
- A duty rated striker spring
The Value of the Peacemaker Daily 4.0: The goal of the Peacemaker is to create a drop in trigger system that keeps up the quality and performance worthy of the TacticalPontoon name, but allow more people to take advantage of the next level in Glock triggers. I would not put my name on anything that would be a generic product that the rest of the crowd does. The Peacemaker Daily 4.0, like The E.D.C., takes my years of experience fine tuning Glock triggers and brings it down to the basics to provide the best action for the best price.
Pop your pins, drop it in in, and hit the range!
The TacticalPontoon Story: I never saw myself building trigger systems. I picked up my first G17 and naturally being a bit of a tinkerer, I wanted to do a few upgrades. Of course, the trigger was the first thing that saw an ‘upgrade’ however that led me down a path that kept me searching for something better. I bought connectors, springs, and so many triggers and systems…..yet I was left scratching my head. There was so much money spent on marketing that the engineering of the parts themselves were lacking and I was very unsatisfied with the results. I found that so many parts were exactly the same and triggers were skin deep changes with the basic operations being the same. There had to be better and I was determined to figure out how to do it……and that led me to studying the components design and operation. I ruined quite a few parts along the way, changing things, tuning and tweaking components until they didn’t work or until I found something that worked to my standards. That led to the original Elite Marksman triggers that were featured on Tactical Toolbox. I just wanted Jonathon to check my work out and when the video hit Youtube, I was inundated with people who wanted the trigger system that impressed him like it did. Before I knew it, I was busy building triggers that amazed people who, like me, were not satisfied with the status quo. That has led me to upgrade and redesign the work that I do to continue to push the limits. I take great pride in creating the best and nothing comes close to TacticalPontoon.

My first trigger upgrade, I checked around and found TP. Found it was a “ one man show”, and messaged James. We had a great one on one discussion, and he advised me on what matched what I wanted. The trigger arrived as described, and installation was a breeze! As of my first range test, it performed as expected, then some! There was no creep, the action was smooth, and that RESET! What a quick, crisp reset! The trigger made me love my EDC even more!
This is not a mass produced, “cookie cutter” trigger. Each one is hand made by one guy. The attention to detail, fit, and function are impeccable! I wish I would have done this sooner!

One man show, not mass produced, attention to detail is impeccable! A great upgrade for my EDC! Thank you for your personal attention!

You can’t ask for a better guy to deal with than James. He answers your questions quickly in the comments on YouTube videos and each and every email you send him. He recommended I go with this trigger and I’m glad I took his advice. The trigger action is very smooth and the reset is something I can’t put into words, other than to say it is very, very short/fast and audible. This is the trigger I will be installing on any future pistols I purchase.

Bought one for my g19 and instantly fell in love. Super easy to install and the attention to detail is amazing. Great quality trigger very crisp break and great reset. With it being an aftermarket trigger reliability was my main concern. Ran over 1,000 rounds without cleaning it and not a single malfunction. Had to purchase another one for my g19x! Thanks again James!

I was not impressed with the trigger on my 19x, it was better than previous gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock triggers but it just wasn’t great in my opinion. I was always resistant to buying replacement triggers for Glocks as I did not want to compromise reliability and safety; however, I was prepared to sell my Glock and figured I’d give tactical pontoon triggers a shot.
Man was I blown away! First of all, the trigger housing is already a Glock OEM part, and all of the trigger components are nicely polished and reshaped a bit. To be honest, aside from the new trigger shoe this trigger package looked exactly like the OEM trigger package so I was a bit skeptical, BUT as soon as I installed and felt the new trigger break and reset I was sold! This trigger is incredible! There’s a very defined wall with little creep and a very crisp break! The reset is unreal for a polymer framed pistol, super short and crisp! As I said before, I was worried about reliability and safety with replacing the trigger group, but I ran 500 rounds through my handgun immediately after installing the trigger and did not have a single hiccup! Make sure you do all the safety tests (described on the website) to make sure everything is functioning as it should. Again, this does not change the overall Glock trigger mechanism, it just changes the shape of a few components as well as a different connector and striker spring with great polishing on all contact surfaces! The fantastic Glock safe action system is still intact and this trigger kit does not compromise it’s function! Highly recommend and will be buying more in the future!

This was my first trigger upgrade on a pistol, I love it so much, I bought another, and will buy more. Great company, excellent customer service. Thanks James for a great product..

I used the drop in trigger for my SCT build and it’s one of the best triggers I’ve ever used. Nice clean break with a pronounced wall. If you’re on the fence about getting it, just do it. It’s well worth the money.

Had work done to my G19x slide and figured it needed a trigger upgrade also. With a lot of companies out there I’ve tested a bunch but Tactical pontoon peacemaker daily 4.0 blew the competition out the water. Huge upgrade and 100% worth it

Purchased for my PSA Dagger from all the recommendation. Easy install for someone who has never done a handgun trigger install. First trigger pull gun was shooting binary. From the informational videos that are provided the cruciform needed to be adjusted. With a little adjustment everything was good to go!

I have a couple of these systems and they work flawlessly. Easy to install and videos are available if you need help. Highly recommended.

I have 4, and as soon as possible, I’ll order more. I’m not sure how much more of an endorsement of Tacticalpontoon I can make other than to say his triggers are my upgrade triggers. If you are looking for a high-quality trigger but don’t want to break the bank this is the trigger.

This was my first drop in trigger I ever installed in a pistol and it’s been awesome would definitely recommend it to someone that wants to upgrade but not spend the money twice because of buying a different trigger and it not stacking up to a TP trigger
