Instead of fighting some roll pin in the trigger shoe (one wrong move and you beat up your new trigger) this kit uses the trigger from the Peacemaker which has a screw to make install a breeze! I clean up the break with a connector that just swaps into place, and while you are there, the new trigger spring clips right in…..squirt on the included Badger Snot…then hit the range to enjoy the new hotness!!!

TacticalPontoon is a leader in the community and I put together a high value kit to upgrade the trigger in your Dagger that beats the competition on every level. It gives you a very crisp trigger that you can tune to your liking, while keeping your Dagger trigger bar and trigger housing.
The Peacemaker Dagger tune up recipe:
- I start with the TacticalPontoon Peacemaker blade style trigger shoe that has 50% less pretravel than the factory curved shoe. The flat face trigger shoe allows for better finger placement and leverage for more control over your shots.
- The TacticalPontoon 4lb connector that is highly polished and ready to replace the mushy 3.5lb connector
- TacticalPontoon overpowered trigger spring that will drop the break weight, while still keeping the reset from being weak.
- Includes sample size squeeze tube of Badger Snot grease to keep it all running smooth
- *Optional* reduced weight duty rated striker spring that will drop the break by .5-.75lbs
- *Optional* reduced weight safety plunger spring to smooth out the bump before the break
The TacticalPontoon Story: I never saw myself building trigger systems. I picked up my first G17 and naturally being a bit of a tinkerer, I wanted to do a few upgrades. Of course, the trigger was the first thing that saw an ‘upgrade’ however that led me down a path that kept me searching for something better. I bought connectors, springs, and so many triggers and systems…..yet I was left scratching my head. There was so much money spent on marketing that the engineering of the parts themselves were lacking and I was very unsatisfied with the results. I found that so many parts were exactly the same and triggers were skin deep changes with the basic operations being the same. There had to be better and I was determined to figure out how to do it……and that led me to studying the components design and operation. I ruined quite a few parts along the way, changing things, tuning and tweaking components until they didn’t work or until I found something that worked to my standards. That led to the original Elite Marksman triggers that were featured on Tactical Toolbox. I just wanted Jonathon to check my work out and when the video hit Youtube, I was inundated with people who wanted the trigger system that impressed him like it did. Before I knew it, I was busy building triggers that amazed people who, like me, were not satisfied with the status quo. That has led me to upgrade and redesign the work that I do to continue to push the limits. I take great pride in creating the best and nothing comes close to TacticalPontoon.

This was my first purchase from TP and I couldn’t be happier. It was my first time breaking any pistol down this far, and after watching several YouTube videos I was ready. All parts fit perfectly and it was an easy install job. The trigger feels incredible and has a very defined wall. The reset is very positive and audible. This upgrade from the original dagger trigger makes a world of difference. If DIY isn’t your thing for $30 more you can get a drop-in option. Buy with confidence.

That being said the tune up kit is a great product and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their Dagger. Do yourself a favor and order the springs to go along with it. A must-have if you own a Dagger! It’s really odd that PSA would put such an inferior trigger shoe the Dagger because the trigger movement and feel are not bad. You’ll only realize that by getting one of these kits. The lighter striker spring had been reliable. My pull weight dropped to a very manageable and safe 3-4 lbs. (ymmv). TP’s customer service and communication has been phenomenal!

I am very pleased with the PSA Dagger tune up kit. I didn’t mind the original trigger but wanted to improve. This did the trick. This is a worth while improvement. My dealings with Tactical Pontoon during this project have been awesome. This is my first Dagger and I’m not normally a Glock or Glock Clone guy. This is opening up a new fascination for me. Amazing trigger system replacement for the Dagger. After reading a comment from an employee who repairs Daggers from Palmetto State Armory, it seemed that Tactical Pontoon was the trigger kit that I set my sights on to replace the stock trigger system on the Dagger. Nearly every aspect of the trigger pull was improved upon installing this tune up kit for the Dagger.
The trigger wall before break is much more defined and perceivable. There is less “mush” before the break. The break itself is crisp and well defined. The reset seems about the same as the stock Dagger. However I really liked the reset for the stock Dagger, so preserving the reset for the Dagger is a great design feature. Maybe there is a little more travel before trigger reset. It feels that way but it is not measured with any instruments. Regardless, a tiny bit of increased distance before reset is a tradeoff that I am willing to accept for all the other greatly improved aspects of the trigger system. The travel before the hitting the trigger break wall is greatly reduced with this tune up kit. The pre travel before the wall was my main gripe with the Dagger trigger. There was just too much movement needed before hitting the wall on the stock trigger for the Dagger for my preference. The tune up kit addresses that issue superbly.
