Closing 2025 — And Carrying It Forward Together

As 2025 comes to a close, I want to slow things down for a moment and speak plainly.
This year was full — not just with orders, but with purpose. The bench stayed busy because people believed in the work. Because shooters chose craftsmanship over convenience. Because the Department of Trigger Efficiency continued to grow the way it always has: quietly, organically, and with intention.
That doesn’t happen without trust.
To everyone who supported TacticalPontoon this year — whether you placed your first order, added another system, shared your experience, or simply stood behind the brand — thank you. You didn’t just keep a shop running. You helped preserve a standard in an industry that too often forgets what “built right” really means.
If you’re reading this and you’ve been waiting, watching, telling yourself you’ll step in someday — consider this your invitation. There’s something meaningful about closing out a year by committing to something better. Something lasting. I’m still at the bench, still building one system at a time, and there’s room for you here when you’re ready.
Looking ahead, 2026 already carries a lot of promise.
Glock Gen 6 is coming, and like many of you, I’m paying close attention. I don’t have an early model in hand yet, and I won’t pretend to. When mine arrives, I’ll take the same approach I always do: tear it down, understand it fully, and only then begin shaping something worthy of the TacticalPontoon name.
I won’t be first.
But I will be right.
That’s been the philosophy from the beginning, and it’s the reason this community exists the way it does. The people here understand that the best things are worth waiting for — and worth doing properly.
2025 was a strong year because of the people who chose to be part of this.
2026 will be even better for the same reason.
I’ll keep showing up.
I’ll keep refining.
I’ll keep raising the bar.
And every time I drop the sear, it’ll be with the same care, focus, and respect for the craft that brought us here in the first place.
Thank you for being part of something real.
Thank you for believing in the work.
And thank you for carrying this forward with me.

From the Shop — July 2026
Looking back, I’m glad I wrote this.
The principles haven’t changed.
I’m still building one system at a time. I’m still convinced that doing the work correctly is more important than doing it quickly. And I’m still not interested in chasing production numbers at the expense of quality.
What has changed is my vision for where TacticalPontoon is going.
Over the past year, I’ve realized that I’m not just building trigger systems anymore—I’m building a body of knowledge around them. That’s why you’ve seen the beginning of Trigger Theory, where I document the engineering, testing, and observations behind the work. My goal isn’t simply to build exceptional Glock triggers. It’s to help builders understand why they work.
You’ve also seen more limited editions, serialized products, members-only releases, and the first pieces of what will become the TacticalPontoon legacy. Those aren’t marketing ideas—they’re a reflection of what this brand has always been becoming: something built deliberately, in limited numbers, for people who appreciate craftsmanship over convenience.
One thing, however, has never changed.
Hope is not a process. Verification is.
Every product. Every article. Every observation that leaves my work table will continue to be built on evidence, refinement, and the same standard that got us here in the first place.
Thank you for continuing to build this with me.
The best work is still ahead.
