I love this trigger system. It completely transformed my CR920 with its horrible, mushy trigger. At first, I must say I wasn’t that happy with this trigger system. The safety was getting hung up on the frame, it was VERY gritty, had several weird walls. But I decided to stick with it and give it a good, fair chance. After several hundred rounds, I must say, that this is the best trigger I’ve shot with in the “CCW” category. Initial travel is short, until it hits a small, rolling wall, immediately followed by The Wall. The Wall has a very crisp break, with no rolling at all. Reset is very very short and VERY audible and tactile.

Installed this on my CR: Dunno what sorcery/magic James works on this setup but it is such an amazing difference over the “thing” thats comes stock. Clean, smooth, no grittiness, clear wall, quick reset… Every CR920 should come with this system (James, maybe work out a deal with SS 🙂 )

This whole trigger swap madness is a serious joke!! No way can this trigger be better than the one I have! And no way can I install it myself. Literally mind blown!! First off- James has a land speed record for replying to emails. I came back from my vacation in Aruba to find my trigger at my door. Now granted usps mangled the box and it had a big hole in it that scared me, but the packaging was so well done, nothing to worry about. I watched a few video ls on glock trigger swaps and my cr920 was pretty much the same. Took me a very careful 15 mins to slowly take my gun apart and literally lift the trigger system out and install my new peacemaker extreme.
Fast forward 2 days later- 375 rounds down range with ZERO creep – ZERO finger lag. This system simply does what you may doubt it can do. The bragging on my reborn war poet pistol is insane now.

Received my trigger for the CR920 last week, and dry firing had me convinced immediately that I made the right choice.
Less take up, solid and defined wall, crisp break, and amazingly solid reset.
But then…I went to the range, putting 100 rounds thru the CR with this trigger and I am now fully convinced there is some “Black Magic” going on.

Installed onto my CR920XP, and it took an already awesome gun and made it epic.
I am already saving up for a G48 peacemaker setup now.
The difference is after about 2,500 rounds the factory trigger started getting heavier, despite cleaning and polishing. At 6.5# it was always heavy, but broke clean and had a good reset.
Long story short I had some out of spec parts at that round count, and decided to give the peace maker a try. I am genuinely impressed.
Consistent 4# trigger now, full retention of all safety features, and the super sexy purple and black color combo really looks great with the bronze barrel shadow.
It was always a super accurate gun, but I actually had to rezero after installing this trigger, I had been compensating to the left and had even managed to zero my site to offset this.
This really is the best bang for the buck you can add to a Shadow CR920XP.

My everyday carry is a Palmetto State Armory 9mm Micro Dagger (Glock 43x clone) This is my impressions of the Tactical Pontoon Peacemaker drop in 4 lbs Trigger system. I did not like the OEM feel of the original plastic trigger that came with the PSA Micro Dagger. So I first tried the tune up kit which gave me better trigger lever/Safety. But the internals were still the same. The trigger progression and the break was still “crunchy” and not very smooth or predictable. So I decided to purchase the entire Peacemaker drop in trigger which included the shoe, the full bar, and properly tuned spring, cruciform, fully assembled and lubricated in all the proper locations.
This simple drop in system improved the trigger feel and provided a very distinct “wall” and the break and reset are very crisp, smooth, and predictable. This is an enormous improvement overall to the Micro Dagger from PSA. The Peacemaker is worth every penny. In addition, it also improves the appearance with it’s many available color selections and safety combinations.

I have 2 extreme carry triggers for my 43 and 43x. Head and shoulders above any other aftermarket trigger I’ve tried for them. Replaced the striker spring in the 43x after around 2-3 years and about 25k rounds when it stopped popping the blazer or fiocchi I primarily train with. (Could’ve possibly been a bad batch of primers but springs are cheap) Still going strong. Better than apex and Jonny Glock and Timney and great customer service.

When It comes to trigger’s everyone has their opinion – in IMHO, there are 3 top-end Glock triggers in the market. I thought only two until I pulled my first Tactical Pontoon. Twelve+ TP triggers later including 2 Vipers and third in the works I couldn’t be more pleased with their performance. From the Peacemaker System to Heisenberg to Viper and the Limited Editions I have them all and each has its place in the quiver.
