This is a TacticalPontoon exclusive!!!! When Glock introduced the Performance trigger system it fixed the many shortcomings of the aftermarket Timney version of this style trigger. Glock designed a true trigger return spring style that gives a very positive reset (something the Timney truly lacks) however, it is a little bit overpowered for those who want to use this for a true competition trigger system.
I did some testing to come up with a spring that will keep the reset strong, but not overpowering when it comes to the pull of the trigger. After working with a spring manufacturer to come up with multiple samples, we got it just right with this spring.
How it works
- This spring takes the place of the trigger spring in the sear chassis.
- The lower weight of the spring gives you less resistance when you pull to break the trigger.
- Gives a 1lb reduction in the weight of the trigger break.
- Still provides a firm and positive reset.
Glock rates the Performance Trigger at 4lbs right out of the box. This spring alone should give you a 3lb break!

I’m a certified Glock armorer and I ordered three Glock Performance Trigger springs to see if they could enhance the trigger pull weight. I installed the springs without any difficulty and they work as advertised. I took a before and after measurement on a G34 and a G19. The springs lowered the trigger pull by a pound without compromising any Glock safeties. I highly recommend these springs for anyone who wants more performance out of their GPT!

Added this in my G17L. Dropped my trigger from 3.5lbs to 2.5lbs, after swapping out the connector to a 3.5 minus and a reduce spring plunger. Going to buy more!

Awesome. Performance trigger stock feels good, just a tad too heavy. This spring dropped mine to a hair over 4 pounds, which is perfect.
